No, not every producer makes bad videos. There are some good ones worth paying for... but the majority are not.Anyhow, I think that there numerous reasons why people watch videos in "pirate" websites. To name a few, lack of money, lack of trust for producers, lack of trust for buying on-line or even via phone (don't forget that the SF business is related to the porn business, which is not exactly the most trustworthy endeavor), or just plain laziness or unwillingness to give money away if at least *some* material is available for free. That's just the way things are...
Producers should never enter this business (or any business) unless they can take collateral damage. One should have enough capital to pay one's bills, equipment, model's fees, lawyers, etc. without having to rely on one's fetish product. Doing otherwise is unwise, plain and simple.
Regarding my own videos, they are not and never will be up for sale because the women in them are not for sale. These are private videos and will never be shared either. I know, it's ironic, given my earlier analogy. That said, if I made candids (like you) or footage that is of women I don't care much for, then you bet I would share it with everyone! When are you going to release your stuff? When the Pacer finally dies? :-)
