Naive? Absolutely - unless he's just lying to himself to justify what he does.
LL thinks he "very likely" knows more than all the producers who have stopped producing DVDs because people aren't buying them anymore --- he thinks he "very likely" knows more than those of us who produce and deal with other producers every day --- he thinks he "very likely" knows more than Fran (who very clearly said when he almost closed his doors earlier this month) who sold a *few* clips while he watched *hundreds* download the same clips from a file sharing site.
We think, "very likely," that people justify THEIR behavior by saying to themselves that most people are paying so the producers won't be hurt by one more person stealing.
Guess what?
PRODUCERS AREN'T GOING OUT OF BUSINESSES BECAUSE THEY JUST FEEL LIKE LYING ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS BEING DESTROYED.
