There are no laws than ban the material he's asking about. It's more a matter of lawyers looking at "unofficial" statements from various authorities - looking at what cases have been prosecuted in the past - then reading between the lines and telling their clients "If you shoot this, you're crazy."
But there's nothing written down anywhere that says what you cannot film, other than the word "obscene."
It's sort of like having a speed limit of "Don't go too fast!" or a tax code that says "Pay your fair share!" ----- and if they think you went too fast or didn't pay the right amount, they can throw you in prison for 10 or 20 years.
