I don't disagree with you about the message society puts upon smoking as a less than wholesome image, especially with women. Yet,when i examine this issue from my own standpoint, I find fault with it. As a boy, when smoking was much more acceptable virtually every woman in my life that ever did anything good for me or taught me anything smoked. I looked up to them, received love and affection from these women and respected them. It wasn't until much later near my teens that the association of a "bad girl" image came about as teen girls became smokers, and that came from school teachers, antismoking propaganda newly started on television, and some puritanical church goers. Still, even then i couldn't feel that way about smoking, since my sister had smoked as a teen and kept herself out of trouble, not to mention the girls I knew that had started had actually been straight A and B students. Suddenly some of them felt that living up to the image in order to smoke was their destiny and fell right into the "Bad Girl" mold. Many others seem to distance themselves from the image and achieve their own identity. As an adult, dating women, I found that there are just as many women who are prudes that smoke as there are "Bad Girls", just like with non smoking women. So what's the difference then? Perhaps our own perceptions are the only thing that matters, and to me a smoking woman is a more sexually sensual person, if only because of my intense fetish. All I know is that my wife is my spouse and mate in the public eye, a great mother, a professional, and one helluva "bad girl" vixen in the bedroom. By the way, did i mention she smokes? :) Anyway, the hell with what society thinks...they can have the latest propaganda machine all to themselves and run the antismoking/badgirl/makeitillegal crusade right up their ass for all i care. I LOVE SMOKING WOMEN, ADORE THEM ALL, AND ALWAYS WILL!!!!
