What WAS going on was last-minute technical glitches.
We opened for beta testing a while ago - and last week, we opened for real. The thousands of people on our mailing list, as well as everyone who has passed through the smokesigs.com front page over the last four days, are well aware that the Community is open. And we'll be making more announcements throughout the net shortly, after the initial rush to sign up is over.
