I'm for a conservative approach in general. In general, I would say once a smoker, always a smoker. This speculation is disappointing. Take Britney Spears. There has been so much speculation, I'm not sure anyone will be very excited when she first smokes in a movie.
Being a late starter, Brooke Shields may actually smoke and then not smoke. Agreed, Loring provides a great resource that is not influenced by some isolated report of a sighting.
