Yes, we started in New England before moving in 2002 - and we loved it too :) And the day we got Tower Records to carry Smoke Signals was one of the most satisfying days we've ever had.

But in a "new world" where "real" magazines like Gourmet have to go out of business, and most others have to drastically cut down their size or content to stay alive --- there's sadly no market for a print version of something like Smoke Signals. That's why we went to an online-only version a couple of years ago; we were losing huge money trying to keep the print version alive.
