I can see a couple of problems

The concept sounds OK (except for the expiration date). It also appears every clip would have to be encoded to this special format and then uploaded through a single source to be downloaded to subscribers. Does this mean all content providers would need to have an agreement in place with the download company? I'm not sure if there is a big enough market for an outfit like Foxtel to be interested. There is also the consideration that some see the SF world as porn or one step above (at the very least "adult". I'm wondering if there is enough universal acceptance to make it profitable for everyone involved? But it's an interesting idea.
