addendum 2

Don't have time to write a full critique... (although I could wax lyrical all night!) but will throw in five great things about it:

1.the blonde girl seems so much more confident to smoke than the brunette. The contrast is convincing and alluring.

2. the moment when the brunette takes first marlboro reds then lights from her bag is really intriguing... She really carries two packs? One is hers and one you gave her? You gave her both and it's all staged? It's just a moment but I love the mystery...

3. I love the way they hold the cigarettes when they are not smoking/dragging... The way they both flick/tap/reposition their fingers is totally convincing of real smokers.

4. I think the *reluctant to admit I smoke* thing is always sexy. The brunette at the end is the denouement for me and the rest is the set up. She didn't like it but she kept smoking. And i love the precision of how many she smoked a day... 8! She would be as convincing to say 3 and a half! You can bet she either smokes a pack and denies it or smokes only socially and fishes for a number.

5. I think the THING I LIKE BEST ABOUT THE CLIP is anticipation. I loved watching the girl I liked less (ie the blonde) smoking but waiting for the brunette to light (who I thought was super sexy) - even wondering if she would. Hey - here's an idea I just thought of - how about a free clip of a girl talking about her smoking, maybe even holding an unlit cigarette, and you have to buy the payclip to see her actually smoke. Just an idea!)
