These posts definitely hit home. My mother a couple of years ago took up smoking again after a long break. I hated the smoke in the apartment. to my shock and amazement she not only started offering me cigarettes but pressuring me to smoke. She has put her cig to my lips more times than I can count and told me to "be a big boy and smoke it." I take little puffs without inhaling. She woke me up a few days back after I fell asleep on the couch by blowing her smoke into my face. We watched tv for a while after that and she insisted that I hold an unlit cig the whole time. She kept trying to light it but I would not let her.
