I very much appreciate your sharing the results of your research on this subject. It seems my thinking is totally lopsided, because it has been my premise that childless women are more likely to smoke in large numbers because of their self-indulgent and often free-wheeling lifestyle. I was of the belief that single/divorced mothers would be less likely to smoke due to the high cost and the desire to present a good example to their children. But apparently I'm all wet on this issue, since it is these single/divorced moms who are raising and nurturing the next generation of smokers.
