My recommendation would be to replace the Zippo with a nice refillable butane lighter, available at many smoke shops, and at several online retailers. Zippos certainly have a hip retro cache about them, but the fluid they use unfortunately leaves a harsh flavor in any cigarette that they light, whereas butane leaves virtually no flavor at all. And there are a lot of sleek and interesting refillable butane lighter designs out there that could easily be conversation starters.
